Faster Drive is Fully Customizable!
All of Faster Drive’s settings are located in the global settings panel, which we can access by clicking Faster Suite on the Faster Ribbon, then clicking the settings wheel.
When we select Cloud Drive on the left, we’ll see several tabs across the top with a lot of different options.
Cloud Drive Settings Tabs
The Drive Mapping tab allows us to turn Faster Drive on or off, choose what letter we use to map the drive, and lets us enable or disable other minor settings related to how Faster Drive runs.
The Matters tab contains options related to how our folders will appear in Faster Drive. We’ll cover this more later.
The Shortcuts tab lets us choose whether or not to display shortcuts in different locations in Faster Drive. If you haven’t seen these yet, they’re really useful and can be found in many different Faster Drive folders.
The Client Files, Notes, and Bills tabs let us enable and customize different virtual folders in Faster Drive. More on this later as well.
The Browser Link and HotDocs tabs let us configure settings related to Faster Suite’s Chrome extension and HotDocs integration. These features will be covered in detail in Chapter 6 of Faster Lawcademy.
