Sometimes users find that when they have a PDF stored in Clio:
In Clio, when clicking the file, the PDF opens.
In Clio, the PDF file has the appropriate icon.
In Clio, there is no file extension (.pdf) at the end of the file.

This issue occurs because Windows uses the file extension to determine what program to use to open the PDF. This situation is caused by someone removing the file extension from the file.
To resolve this issue, simply rename the file and give it a .pdf extension (ie. Rename it from "Belmont Invoice" to "Belmont Invoice.pdf".
If you have made the change through Clio, once you Refresh your view, you will be able to open the file.
