ISSUE
When trying to create files in Faster Drive, you receive cryptic error messages such as:

CAUSE
Your computer is using a technology called "WebDav" to connect to Faster Drive. In Microsoft's implementation of WebDav, there is a bug that affects windows user accounts with special characters in the login name. For example, if you were to log into your computer as "Smith&Smith", the ampersand (&) would trigger the bug.
RESOLUTION
Unfortunately this is a bug in windows that has existed for some time. To work around the bug, please log into your computer (not Clio/Faster Suite) using a windows user account that does not have any special characters in it.
To determine if you are affected by this issue, open a windows command prompt and type:

If any of the areas in red have special characters in them (such as $ & or %), then you are affected by this issue. To resolve it, have your IT administrator change your windows account name so that it no longer has the special characters in it.
