Advanced Troubleshooting: How to open listening port 8881 on your computer

If you have been instructed by a Faster Law professional that you need to configure port listening for Faster Drive, the following steps will walk you through the process. Keep in mind that you will need administrator credentials to complete this process.

Open you command prompt as an administrator
1. Click your start button and type "cmd"
  There may not be a search box displayed. Typing with the start menu open acts as a search.
2. You should see the following.
3. Click Run as administrator.

Enter the following command and then hit enter.

netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:8881/ sddl=D:(A;;GA;;;WD) listen=yes
