CLIO Firm Feed Export Notifications

Modified on Tue, 21 Jan at 2:50 PM

A recent Clio update is now showing API actions that Faster Suite performs in the Clio Firm Feed.  The text of these notifications is ambiguous and is causing some firms to believe that their Clio account may have been compromised.

Below is an example of what may show up in the Clio Firm Feed:

This is not indicative of a compromised account.  These are simply additional logs that Clio is now showing.

Because of the language, in the message, some firms may believe a staff member is downloading all of the firm's documents/folders.  This is not correct.  Messages like the above should be read as follows:

Faster Suite (used by Gregory Paik) retrieved information about 75923 folders via the Clio API.

We have reached out to Clio and have requested that the log message be updated to provide more clarity to firms.
