How Faster Suite Syncs Data From Clio

Let's learn how data is synced from Clio.  Keep in mind that the amount of time it takes to sync data will depend on your internet connection and the amount of data stored in Clio.

There are two types of data syncs that Faster Suite uses, full refresh and quick refresh.

Full Refresh

A full refresh occurs when you launch Faster Suite.  When syncing this way, Faster Suite is asking for a full list of everything stored in Clio.  This process may take a bit.

Quick Refresh

After the full refresh is completed, Faster Suite will initiate a quick refresh every 60 seconds that will only sync changes that have been made in Clio since the last refresh was run.  Quick refreshes finish much faster than the initial full refresh.

Is Faster Suite syncing?

You can see if Faster Suite is performing one of these refreshes by watching the refresh icon on the Faster Ribbon at the top of the screen.  If it’s spinning, that means Faster Suite is currently pulling information out of Clio.
