Using Clio Text Snippets in Any Application
Faster Snippets are available to be used in any application on your PC, but if you already have a lot of text snippets in Clio, you might not want to recreate them in Faster Snippets. Because of this, Faster Snippets will also take your Clio text snippets and make them work everywhere.
Where are Clio text snippets?
Let’s start by finding our Clio text snippets. In Clio, we’ll go to Settings on the left, then Text Snippets in the middle. If we’ve never used this page before, we likely have some text snippets that Clio created for us by default.
Turning Clio Snippets On in Faster Snippets
Now let’s make sure this feature is turned on in Faster Snippets. We’ll go to Faster Suite on the Faster Ribbon, click the settings wheel, select Text Snippets on the left, then Custom Libraries across the top. The second checkbox determines whether or not Clio text snippets will be available outside of Clio.
Anytime this setting is turned on, we can go to any application on our computer and type the abbreviation for a Clio text snippet to see the snippet automatically expand our text.
