If you are experiencing issues with Faster Suite, it may be because you're running an older version. To check for this, go to "Faster Suite" on the Faster Ribbon, then click "Settings. Your current version will be shown at the top. You can then compare the version you're running to the latest version of Faster Suite.
If you're not running the current version, you can simply reinstall Faster Suite to get updated to the newest version immediately. The latest version of Faster Suite is always available on our website www.fasterlaw.com and can be downloaded by clicking the Free Download button featured prominently on the homepage.
You can also change your update settings to get updates automatically. From your settings window, click on "Advanced" on the left side, and go to the "Automatic Updates" tab. From here you can choose how often to check for updates, as well as tell Faster Suite when to install the update.
This page also has an option to change the channel that your updates are downloaded from.
The "Stable" channel is our recommended channel, as it only contains "fully baked" features that have undergone our standard testing procedures. Updates from this channel occur roughly every six to twelve weeks.
The "Preview" channel contains updates with "half baked" upcoming features that have not been thoroughly tested. Using this channel for your updates may cause unexpected issues, and is not recommended. Updates occur from the "Preview" channel every two weeks.
The "Nightly" channel contains "raw" features that have not been tested. If you select this channel, Faster Suite may crash. This should only be selected by advanced testers of Faster Suite. Updates will occur every day or two.
