Mediated Communications (the developer of Faster Suite) takes your security seriously and our design processes help ensure a secure experience for all Clio users.
When you utilize our products, your computer establishes a direct link to Clio's Cloud using enterprise-grade 2048-bit SSL security as mandated by Clio. All requests for data go directly from your computer to Clio's servers - the requests never "pass though" a server belonging to Mediated Communications - the only exception to this is when we verify that you have a license to use our software. Depending on the application that you are using, any data that you store is either stored on Clio's Cloud, on your own computer, or both. Again, your data is not stored on our infrastructure.
While using our products, we do collect some information and we want you to be aware of what we're collecting and why. We collect two types of information:

While using our products, we do collect some information and we want you to be aware of what we're collecting and why. We collect two types of information:
1. Statistics and application error logs
These statistics and logs help us to know what areas of our software we should enhance and which areas need improvement. For example, if you are using our software and it tends to crash at a certain point, our developers will receive a notification that there is a bug in our software and we'll be able to fix that in an upcoming release.
2. Information necessary in order to license our software to you.
Because we license our software per user, when a license is issued to you, it will be associated to the identification that you provide.
If you do not consent to the above terms, we request that you immediately stop using our software.
Because our tools are able to operate without sending any of your personal data or your firm's data to another party and because our tools store all data on either Clio's cloud or your own computer, it is our opinion that our tools are GDPR compliant because they are not storing any data to which GDPR would apply.
