Users can manually add a set of folders by following the instructions in this article.

Users would like to have to ability to create a set of folders that will be automatically created any time a new matter is created in Clio.
Feature Response:
When interviewing customers about this feature, we received a lot of differing feedback about how this feature should work, how it should be configured, and what should trigger the automatic creation of folders. For example, we often got complex feedback such as the following:
"When a new 'Divorce' matter is created we want folder Template 1 to be used unless the responsible attorney is John Smith and then he wants Folder Template 2 to be used".
Because of the complexity of adding and configuring these rules, we feel that clients are best served by following the instructions in the referenced knowledge-base article. Following the knowledgebase article is a quick step that gives will give clients complete control and allows them to customize templates on a per-matter basis.
