Telephony: Faster Suite's RingCentral Integration

Logging into RingCentral

Configuring Faster Suite's RingCentral integration is easy!  Just follow these steps:

1.  Go to Faster Suite > Settings > Ring Central > Overview and check the box labeled "Link Clio to my Ring Central account"


2.  Enter your User Name and Password for RingCentral and click "Activate"
Don't forget to Activate!
Make sure to click the "Activate" button before saving your settings.  Not activating your RingCentral account with Faster Suite may potentially cause some issues with logging in.

Automatic Actions

Contact Sync

Contacts from Clio will automatically be synced to RingCentral every hour.  If you don't want your Clio contacts synced to RingCentral you can disable this feature by unchecking the box labeled "Sync Clio Contacts to Ring Central every hour" in Settings under Ring Central > Overview.


Timekeeping

Time you spend on calls using RingCentral will automatically be tracked using Faster Time.  You can bill your time spent on calls at the end of the day, or choose to save your time for calls immediately after the phone call.  These options are also located in Settings under Ring Central > Overview.


Faxes, Voicemails, Text Messages

Other types of communications can automatically be saved to Clio in a variety of formats.  The other three tabs (Faxes, Voice Mails, Text Messages) under Ring Central in Settings can be configured to specify what actions should be taken when receiving a communication of that type.

  1. Turn on/off automatic saving of this communication type.
  2. Select how the communication should be saved.
  3. What folder the communication should be used when saving the documents
