Faster Suite’s PACER integration provides automation that will help save PACER documents right to Clio, and make sure you never pay PACER again.

When we receive a PACER email with a link to a document, Faster Suite will do three things. First, the email will be automatically associated with the related matter from Clio and organized into a folder for that matter inside Outlook. It will then automatically download the linked document and save it back to the email as an attachment. Finally, once the email is linked to the matter, the document itself will be saved to the matter in Clio into a folder called PACER.

This feature is already set up to start working immediately, but if we would like to personalize how it works, we can go to Faster Suite > Settings > Pacer Saver.

The first tab here is Overview.  We can use this tab to configure the name of the attachment and disable the PACER email notifications.

The next tab is Matter Linking.  We can use this tab to configure what fields should be looked at for automatic matter association, choose whether to automatically organize the email in Outlook, and choose the folder and document name when saving to Clio.

If a login to PACER is required, you’ll need to enter your credentials on the Authentication tab.  This will allow the PACER integration to automatically log in with your credentials.  You can also use the Authentication tab to select whether or not to automatically accept charges to view PACER documents.

And finally, the Exclusions tab allows you configure email address that should be ignored by the PACER integration.

Once you have your settings configured how you want them, just click "Save and Close" and Faster Suite will start processing your PACER emails.
