Creating a New Task List From Faster Suite

Just like new tasks, we can assign task lists in Clio right from the Faster Ribbon.

We’ll go to New on the Faster Ribbon, then select Assign Tasks from Task List.

In the window that appears, we’ll first click the drop-down menu in the top left to choose a task list to assign.  If we don’t have any task lists created in Clio then this list will be empty and we’ll have to create a task list first.  If you’re not sure how to do this, Faster Law recommends contacting Clio support to learn more about task lists.

Now that we’ve selected our list, we can choose a user to assign the tasks to or leave the user field blank to assign the tasks to ourselves.  Now we can pick a start date for the task list and select the matter the tasks are related to.

When we’re done, we’ll click Save in the bottom right to create the new tasks from the selected list in Clio.
