Action Chaining: New Communications

Communications will be automatically created in Clio when we preserve an email using Faster Mail, but now let’s look at how we can manually create communications in Clio from the Faster Ribbon for other things like phone calls.

We’ll start by going to Mail on the Faster Ribbon, then we’ll click the Communication button.

In the window that appears, we can enter a subject and description for the communication on the left, select a date on the right or leave the date field blank to automatically use today’s date, then add some contacts to the communication.  We can also select what type of communication this should be created in Clio as, either Email or Phone.

Next we’ll just select the matter that the communication is related to and click Save to create the new communication in Clio.
