REQUEST:
Users would like to be able to put frequently used buttons on the AlphaDrive ribbon for faster access. This would be similar to putting shortcuts to frequently used programs on the Windows 10 task bar and similar to the current "View Files" and "Launch Clio" buttons. For example, instead of clicking "new" and then clicking "email", "note", or "task", one click on the button on the ribbon would take users where they want to go.
RESPONSE:
This feature will most likely not be implemented.
REASON:
We definitely think this is a great idea but it would actually take quite a bit of engineering effort to make this happen. Our ribbon design ensures that each tool is really only two clicks away (click the tab then click the tool). If we built this feature, we would also have to build a method for organizing and managing the order of the quick tools. It would be a lot of engineering to reduce the workflow by one click.
