REQUEST
Users would like to ability to file emails to a contact instead of a specific matter. This would be useful for emails that are related to multiple matters.
RESPONSE
We have no plans to develop this feature at this time
REASON
We believe this feature would lead to confusion over where an email is saved. We recommend having a "General" matter in Clio for things that are related to contacts but not specific matters. This way, users that are not aware of or used to using the client documents page will never question where a document like this is saved.
